Hyrox Doubles and Mixed Doubles weights, in kg and lb

Hyrox Mixed Doubles weights from the 26/27 rulebook: 152 kg sled push, 103 kg pull, 2 x 24 kg carry, 20 kg sandbag, 6 kg ball. Plus lb and every division.

by exrsz

Hyrox Mixed Doubles weights are the Men Open loads: a 152 kg sled push, 103 kg sled pull, 2 x 24 kg farmers carry, 20 kg sandbag and a 6 kg wall ball, with the woman throwing to a 2.70 m target and the man to 3.00 m. Both partners run every kilometer; the station work is shared.

Below are the weights for all five Doubles divisions from the 26/27 doubles rulebook, in kilograms and pounds, plus how Mixed pairs should split the heavy stations. If you'd rather have both of you training toward those numbers on purpose, that's an app that plans runs and stations together.

Hyrox Mixed Doubles weights

Here are the Mixed Doubles loads station by station. Sled weights include the sled. The rulebook gives kilograms only; pounds are straight conversions, rounded.

#StationMixed Doubles (kg)Mixed Doubles (lb)
1SkiErg1,000 m1,000 m
2Sled push (50 m)152 kg~335 lb
3Sled pull (50 m)103 kg~227 lb
4Burpee broad jumps80 m80 m
5Rowing1,000 m1,000 m
6Farmers carry (200 m)2 x 24 kg2 x ~53 lb
7Sandbag lunges (100 m)20 kg~44 lb
8Wall balls (100 reps)6 kg~13 lb

Wall ball targets go by sex, not division. The rulebook says female racers must hit their target and male racers theirs: 2.70 m (about 8 ft 10 in) for the woman, 3.00 m (about 9 ft 10 in) for the man, with the same 6 kg ball.

The kettlebells, sandbag and ball for this tier are color-coded grey. Grab the wrong color at the carry or the lunges and you have to redo the whole station with the right weight, or you're disqualified.

Mixed is the same load tier as Men Open and Women Pro, so the full singles comparison lives in the official Hyrox weights by division. The thing that's different about Doubles isn't the weight. It's that two people share it.

Because the loads are fixed, you can train backwards from them. A Hyrox plan built around your weak stations would start each of you below race weight and bring you up to it, with extra time on whichever station costs your pair the most.

Hyrox Doubles weights for every division

The doubles rulebook lists five divisions. Here's every load:

StationDoubles WomenDoubles Men / Women Pro / MixedDoubles Men Pro
Sled push102 kg (~225 lb)152 kg (~335 lb)202 kg (~445 lb)
Sled pull78 kg (~172 lb)103 kg (~227 lb)153 kg (~337 lb)
Farmers carry2 x 16 kg (~35 lb)2 x 24 kg (~53 lb)2 x 32 kg (~71 lb)
Sandbag lunges10 kg (~22 lb)20 kg (~44 lb)30 kg (~66 lb)
Wall balls4 kg (~9 lb)6 kg (~13 lb)9 kg (~20 lb)
Wall ball target2.70 m2.70 m (women), 3.00 m (men)3.00 m

Distances and reps don't change in any division: 1,000 m SkiErg, 50 m of each sled in four 12.5 m lengths, 80 m of burpee broad jumps, 1,000 m row, 200 m carry, 100 m of lunges and 100 wall balls. The doubles rulebook also says Doubles Mixed keeps the same distances, reps and weights at the World Championships.

Hyrox mixed doubles weights in lbs

For quick reference, the Mixed loads in pounds: 335 lb sled push, 227 lb sled pull, two 53 lb kettlebells, a 44 lb sandbag and a 13 lb wall ball. These are conversions of the official kilogram figures, so expect gym equipment in pounds to be close but not identical. A 24 kg kettlebell is about 53 lb; a 50 lb or 55 lb bell is a reasonable stand-in for training.

Hyrox mixed doubles weights 2026 (and 2025)

The numbers on this page are from the 26/27 rulebooks, which is the current season. We haven't verified the older 2025 tables line by line, and Hyrox can change loads between seasons, so if you're reading an older "2025" table somewhere else, check it against the current official rulebook before you train to it.

Why Mixed Doubles is harder for the woman than it looks

In Mixed, the woman works at the Men Open loads on every weighted station. That's exactly the Women Pro tier: 50 kg more on the sled push than Women Open, 25 kg more on the pull, 8 kg more per hand on the carry, double the sandbag and a 2 kg heavier ball. The full women's comparison is in our guide to Hyrox weights for women.

That doesn't mean she should do less of everything. It means you should decide the split on purpose, not on the day.

How to split the weights in Mixed Doubles

The rulebook lets partners switch as often as they like and doesn't require an even split. Its own example is "you go, I go" on the rower: one partner rows a self-selected distance, then you swap. There are rules on how you hand over, though:

  • Farmers carry and sandbag: kettlebells and the sandbag can be passed sideways or backwards, never forwards.
  • Wall balls: hand the ball over or let it drop. A flying switch, where one throws and the other catches it in the squat, is a no-rep.
  • Sled pull: the resting partner stays behind and can't touch the rope, though verbal and physical guidance is allowed as long as they stay out of the Racer's Box.
  • Everyone: the resting partner stays on their feet. No kneeling or sitting.

Splitting strategy is coaching judgment, not rules. Some sensible defaults for a Mixed pair:

Sled push and pull. If one partner is clearly stronger, give them more lengths. With four lengths per sled, a 3-and-1 split is a perfectly legal option. If you're evenly matched, alternate lengths so nobody stalls.

Farmers carry. Grip decides this one. Whoever can carry 2 x 24 kg further without setting the bells down takes the longer turns. Every handover costs a few seconds, so fewer, longer turns usually beat many short ones.

Sandbag lunges. The 20 kg bag is light; the issue is leg endurance late in the race. Split by who has more left, and keep turns long enough that handovers don't eat the gain.

Wall balls. The 6 kg ball to 2.70 m for the woman and 3.00 m for the man. Sets of 10 to 15 each with planned switches keep both of you moving. Agree the scheme in training.

Remember the runs. You run every kilometer together, at the slower runner's pace. Taking too much station work can make the run that follows slower for the whole team.

How to train for the Mixed Doubles weights

The stations are explained in detail in Hyrox stations explained, and the running doesn't change from a Hyrox race done solo. For the weights specifically:

Get strong first. Squats, deadlift variations, lunges, rows and presses, built over weeks. If either of you is new to lifting, beginner lifting basics are the place to start.

Train both partners at the Mixed loads. In a race, both of you will be handling 152 kg and 2 x 24 kg at some point. Practice it in training, including the handovers.

Train grip for the carry. Heavy carries for distance, often. If your gym has no 24 kg kettlebells, heavy dumbbells or a trap bar will do. Which farmers carry alternative you use matters less than carrying heavy for the full distance.

Train the sleds slightly above race weight where you can, since floor surfaces vary and venue sleds can feel heavier than your gym's.

Rehearse together. At least a few sessions where you run side by side and swap stations exactly as you will on race day.

For the woman in the pair, it's worth treating the build like a Women Pro preparation, since the loads are identical. The wider picture of divisions, loads and training for Hyrox for women applies directly.

How exrsz handles Doubles loads

exrsz builds a periodized plan from your goal, schedule, level and equipment, with the strength work for race-weight sleds and carries in the same plan as your running. It adapts each week to how you actually trained and reshuffles missed sessions instead of stacking them.
